Spend an afternoon with the Southland Wind Ensemble by enjoying some orchestral transcriptions from the music of Holst, Gershwin, Barber, and Copland! We'll have a special raffle to choose a Guest Conductor who'll conduct the final number at the Season Finale.

The Southland Wind Ensemble will perform their first concert, featuring the music of Vaughan Williams, Jacob, Duble, Ticheli, and others. This will be the first of 3 concerts for the short 2019-2020 season.
The Southland Wind Ensemble musicians will be presenting a newly scheduled concert with music for chamber winds, featuring Stravinsky's Octet and Böhme's Trompeten-Sextett, along with trios, quartets, and other small ensembles.
Join us for the pre-concert lecture at 3:30pm, where the music will be discussed with the Southland Wind Ensemble Music Director, George Osorio.
